A humidifier putting moisture into the air is physical. since A physical change is a change in which no new substances are formed. Therefore when you put a humidifier into the air it can be separated into parts.

Physical. Humidifiers add water to the air, but no chemical reaction occurs. This is similar to adding chocolate chips to cookie dough. No chemical change has occurred, but the chips are now mixed into the dough.
