How is momentum similar to inertia? Explain.

    50% of the law of inertia (newton's 1st law) is that an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. Momentum is that force that makes an object want to keep moving. Same reason that if a moving car on a highway were to go into neutral, it would keep going rather than stop dead in its tracks
