    d = 0.002 g/cm³

    Explanation:

    Data given:

    Density of CO₂ at STP = ?

    Solution:

    So for density we have to know volume and mass of CO₂

    For this

    First we will find molar mass of carbon dioxide (CO₂)

    Molar mass of CO₂ = 12 + 2 (16)

    Molar mass of CO₂ = 12 + 32 = 44 g/mol

    CO

    Now

    we know that at STP molar mass of Carbon dioxide (CO₂) occupy 22.4 dm³ / mole of volume

    22.4 dm³ = 22.4 L = 22400 cm³

    Now to find the density of carbon dioxide (CO₂) at STP

    mass of CO₂ = 44 g

    Volume of CO₂ = 22400 cm³

    d = m/v

    Put values in above formula

    d = 44 g / 22400 cm³

    d = 0.002 g/cm³
