Hypervitaminosis is caused by the excess amounts of vitamins stored in the body. The fat-soluble vitamins contribute the majority for this conditions because these type of vitamins hard to utilize due to their non-polarity. Also, they are dissolved in fats that are normally stored by the body as energy-reserve.
