    Answer: NH4Cl, an ionic compound

    Explanation:

    Generally ionic compounds were formed by the metal and non metal whereas covalent bond is made up of two non metals.

    Here in NH4Cl, there is no metal but it has ionic bond between NH4+and Cl-. Hence overall nature of compound is ionic.
