I will give you 3 reasons as to why fungi are beneficial.
1.) Fungi breaks down organic matter and they release carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, and phosphorus in to the atmosphere and into the soil.
2.) Fungi plays a huge role in the making of bread, wine, beer, and cheese.
3.) Some foods made out of fungi (aka. mushrooms) are very high in protein and are good for your health.
