    A = change in velocity over change in time

    a = (-80m/s) / 10s

    a = - 8m/s^2

    - 8 meter/sec

    (-) sign denotes deceleration.

    a = (Final velocity-initial velocity) / Time

    = (0-80) / 10

    = - 8 meter/sec
