If I'm trying to figure out the number of mols in a sample of 25 g of copper chloride, how would I do it? Would I divide 25 g by the molecular weight of copper chloride, which would come out to about 0.19 mols of copper chloride in a 25 g sample? And, during this lab, we react the copper chloride with zinc, which produced solid copper and ZnCl. How do I find the number of mols of chlorine released by the copper?

    Divide 25g by the molar mass of copper chloride and then multiply that answer by Avogadro's number (6.022*10^23)
