If you mix 12 moles of h2 and 7 moles of o2 to form h2o, which is the limiting reagent and why?

    H2 is the limiting reagent because 1 mole of o2 requires 2 moles of h2 to react and there are 7 moles of o2 present so 14 moles of h2 are required so since there are only 12 moles of h2
