A physical change is a change in which the substance changes its physical shape, but chemically, its still the same.
For example, ripping a paper in half.
Its still paper, so its a physical change. But if I were to set it on fire, it would be a chemical change.

Examples:

however, paper being burned is now ash and smoke (Chemical change)
