Does polarity affect the rate of diffusion? explain your answer using scientific principles.

    Polarity of gaseous molecule has little effects on the rate of diffusion. however, polarity will come into play when molecule will pass through a membrane. so if a membrane is polar, then polar cannot pass through because they will be attracted by the membrane, because the rule is like dissolves like.
