Write down the duty of the Accumulators?

Accumulators:

Accumulators is a device in which non compressible fluid is filled and maintain high pressure by applying external force. These external force maybe spring or a compressed gas etc.

The duties of Accumulators are as follows

1. It act as emergency power source

2. It act as hydraulic shock absorber.

3. It act as thermal expansion compensator.

4. It act as auxiliary power source.
