Explanation:
The American dream is that America is a place that has a hope and new future for people to make money all over the world. People come from everywhere looking for new opportunities! I would say the dream is alive based off of how many people immigrate here monthly.

Explanation:
The american dream is an ideal. although not as prevalent is still beating in the hearts of those in 2nd and third world countrys. The american dream is about hoping for something better by working hard and risking the odds. The current ecomomy may offer less jobs with stricter guidlines but the passion of the american dream is alive in the immagrants just the same as the generations passed, though not as grand the ideal is still there. the american is an ideal.
