Oprah says while standing at Auschwitz "standing in a place where there was such a display of inhumanity, I don't think I have ever felt more human ... it is an intensely human feeling". What does that mean?

Being on the place of the great crime against humanity, Oprah feels empathy towards victims, groups, and people who were affected and whose lives were ended and shattered by those crimes.

This empathy, the strong feeling of grief, sadness, and tragedy, is the "intensely human feeling" she talks about. As people behind Auschwitz did not display any empathy or sadness towards the victims, feeling exactly opposite in that same place is the exact display of humanity that she talks about.
