The revision that should be made in order to maintain parallel structure is option C) "Sentence 3 should be revised to read, "My next stop will be old Mr. Butterworth's for a chat with my favorite neighbor." since the rest of the sentences use the same structure to introduce the new concepts.

In sentences 1, 2 and 4 the introductory phrases are "My first stop", "my second stop", and "my last stop". So the only sentence that does not follow the same pattern is number 3 by using the word "next" instead of "my next stop". Parallel structures are not followed when there is a break in the sentence pattern as in sentence 3.
