Winning the jackpot in a particular lottery requires that you select the correct three numbers between 1 and 33 and, in a separate drawing, you must also select the correct single number between 1 and 52. Find the probability of winning the jackpot.

    therefore find the possible combination of 3 balls out of 33

    33C3 = 5456

    Step 2

    Mulitply the above combination 1 ball out of 52 = 52

    i. e. 5456 * 52 = 283712

    The probability of winning jackpot is come out to be 283712.
