    The surface of moon contains highlands, Maria, Impact craters, Ejecta and Rilles. As highlands are light colour lunar regions heavily coated with craters, maria is a lunar region which is dark and smooth. Impact craters takes place when something crash from space. Ejecta is material which blast out through impact. Rilles are valley like structures which are found on maria.
