Explanation:
These people were neither Nuits nor Meits, the term originated in the 1980s and generally was replaced by the term of Indians. The Indians were referred to as the first nation's status given under the Indian act. The term Native is also associated with that of the person or the product that originated in that particular place. The Term of Native Indian or Native Americans is also referred to as the tribal group in that place. Section 35 of the Canadian constitution defined such terms as separately define the population on a regional basis. This term also represents the people adversely affected by encroachments of industrial powers of the settlers.
