B. forcing Germany to pay reparations. The USA opposed to the Treaty of Versailles saying that Germany had to pay $6,600,000,000 for the reparations of the damage of Europe. USA President, Woodrow Wilson, opposed because he as well as most of the people/countries involved in the Treaty knew that this was far too much for a single country to pay (some believe that this settlement for Germany in the Treaty was the main reason the Second World War began, amongst other factors), and can I add that even in those days, Billions of dollars almost didn't exist it was so rare. But, it would have been political suicide to disagree, and so President Woodrow Wilson/USA agreed anyway, despite his personal opinion.

B. Forcing Germany to pay reparations. This action later is a cause of world war two because since Germany wasn't financially able to pay for all the damage done during the war they spiraled into a deep depression until Hitler came along and promised to get the government out of the depression.
