freesom of religion guarantees tgat the government will never establish a national religion, and that religious minorities will not be persecuted. Why was the absense of a national religion importnat to peoplein the 1700's? is it importnat now? Soea this ever creat a peonlem in out country today?

    Religious Freedom provides equality so that everyone can be treated in the same way, regardless of their religious beliefs, it allows people to be seen beyond their religion because a religion will not define a person.

    Religious freedom preserves American diversity, where different individuals may have different beliefs and not be judged for it.
