Explain the purpose of the League of Nations, and why the U. S. never joined?

    The League of Nations was created to promote and secure international peace and peaceful solutions of conflicts. His father was US president Woodrow Wilson. Ironically, the US did not joint the League of Nations because the Senate refused to ratify the adhesion treaty, wary of foreign entanglements and wars. Isolationist views prevailed after World War I.

    The League of Nations was an world organization created after World War I by President Woodrow Wilson to maintain world peace and harmony.

    The United States did not join the League of Nations due to a stroke to President Wilson which ended up leading to his death.
