    In the cottage system, it was many handcrafted goods made together in a pattern that was handcrafted at the same time they took a lot of time. They were high in quality but it took time for them to be made. The factory system started in the 18th century.

    In the factory system goods were made quickly and came at a cheaper price. This also started a rage in people as factories were running on machines and people were getting unemployed.
