The two significant natural resources of the thirteen British colonies was Iron ore and Furs.

Explanation:

After arriving in America, the settlers tried to establish a colony and found iron ore in the wilderness. The shipping of iron continued because it considered being the top quality iron according to the Britishers who imported them from the colonies. Iron was used in industries, building ships etc. Fur trading was profitable because they were part of a luxury item. Beaver furs used to produce hats in England and were expensive because of its real animal hair and a great provider of warm in winters. The wealthy aristocrats and merchants were willing to pay the price for it as it represents wealth in society.
