He used the gestapo as a way of terrorising people, if they stepped a foot out of line, they would be killed. Also the uses of concentration camps allowed him to use it as a statement to any Jews still not in any. Also, he was actually a political leader of the nazi party and he had the support of his SA (his kind of personal army) and the support of his trained soldiers. He also had the support of the Ottoman Empire and some other countries. Finally, due to things like the night of the long knives he warned people that he was coming.
