    Government Vs Natural Rights

    Explanation:

The purpose of government, Locke wrote, is to secure and protect the God-given inalienable natural rights of the people. For their part, the people must obey the laws of their rulers. Thus, a sort of contract exists between the rulers and the ruled.

The social contract is an agreement between members of a country to live within a shared system of laws ... Government is instituted to make laws that protect these three natural rights. If a government does not properly protect these rights, it can be overthrown.

    Rights of the Government

They guarantee rights such as religious freedom, freedom of the press, and trial by jury to all American citizens. First Amendment: Freedom of religion, freedom of speech and the press, the right to assemble, the right to petition government. To secure our fundamental rights, we must first know what a fundamental right is. A fundamental right is a right that the government or anybody cannot deny to you. It is extremely important to know your legal and Constitutional rights. These rights are the foundation of our legal system and are in place for the protection of every citizen of this country. Failure to know and utilize these rights leads to their erosion and possibly to you getting yourself deeper into trouble.

unalienable. What's unalienable cannot be taken away or denied. Its most famous use is in the Declaration of Independence, which says people have unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness
