    19th amendment

    Explanation:

The 19th amendment gave women the right to vote as of 1920. This was a right that woman had been fighting for pretty consistently since the middle of the 19th century (1800's).

The 16th amendment establishes a federal income tax for all citizens.

The 17th amendment allows for citizens to vote for Senators rather than having them chosen by state legislatures.

The 18th amendment outlaws the distribution, production, and transportation of alcohol within the US. This kicks of the era now known as Prohibition.
