Why do you think Supreme Court decides against Fred Scott

    I'm assuming you mean the Dred Scott v Stanford case? I believe that the majority of the Supreme Court at the time was probably Democratic, southern, and/or pro-slavery. Also, I think that abolition was still a minority movement, and a rather radical one in America's society during that period. Probably more factors, but I think these are some.
