Economic conditions of 6 million women improved in USA when US joined WW2 because these women joined war industrial workforce for the first time and started earning money. Women were called as Rosies. Women who were under debt due to Great Depression, started paying back their debts and economy of US got a jump start from the Great Depression. war rationing ensured that women had enough food to feed their family so that they could go out and work in war industries production and they did it with flying colors.
