    Filippo Brunelleschi, an Italian architect in the Renaissance period known for his work on the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence. He also influenced the artists of that period by giving the idea of using two-dimensional canvases to create illusions of three-dimensional space, creating realism. He is considered to be the father of Renaissance as he is believed to have influenced Michelangelo along with other architects.
