Why is Grenville portrayed as the father of a dead child?

    George Grenville; a British statesman but commonly known as the father of the a dead child. He lost his first born Richard Grenville at a very young age. Richard suffered a series of illness but at the end could not survive the pain and left his father, during his illness phase George use to sat besides him for hours as he wanted him to recover so that he could provide Richard every luxury of life. George's third son William also died unmarried.
