How has prohibition lead to change in society?

Prohibition has lad to a safer living in society, for every one young old and in-between.

Prohibition led to a rise in 'gangsterism' because people who enjoyed drinking had become reliant on organized criminals and many became tangled in bootlegging which was the transport of illegal alcohol into America. The government realized prohibition led to more damage than good so they got rid of it in 1933.
