Why did President Truman order the atomic bomb to be dropped on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

    Cancel out B, C because the war in Germany already was won by the United States and Germany dropped out of the war. Therefor leaving only A, D.

    I'd say A because Japan was already limited to its supplies and the mega ship, Yamato was sunk on April 7th 1945 and the bombs were dropped around August. so A
