Cause: the stock market crashed. Effect: creating jobs to go away because stores and shops could not stay open which caused people to have less money so they could not feed there family and pay mortgage.

The cause was people were buying stock for higher prices and as the stock market started to crash people rushed to banks to withdraw theyre money but the banks had used it all on loans then people would sell off stock
