Baron Charles Montesquieu and Francois Arouet (Voltaire) are two of the most famous philosophers in history. They have several similarities: both were French, both lived and wrote around the time of the French Revolution, and both were interested in how the unfolding of history affects humanity.

they both were very important parts in french history which led us to how our own government in the USA works.
