    Russian Primary Chronicle is a collection of historical events during the Kievan Rus'. The events are mixed with Christian allusions, especially in the well known Korsun legend. On that tale, the conversion of Prince Vladimir was told as just a requisite to Marry Emperor Basil's sister. There is no description about a regret, a change of lifestyle or anything similar; it was just a fast conversion and baptizim so he could get married.
