Did germany cause all the other nations to go into debt after ww1?

    Actually no. Germany itself went into debt because the Treaty of Versailles basically told Germany that it was the sole cause of wwl and that it had to pay for all of the damage caused. Obviously Germany was in no position to pay off all of the war damage and spiraled into a deep depression until Hitler came along promising a good life for its citizens.
