How did the loyalists thinkikg different from that of patriot?

    A loyalist was loyal to the mother country, (Britain in the case of the American Revolution) and Patriots believed in creating their own country. The patriots thought that the mother country was oppressive, and they wanted to break away. Loyalist believed that Britain’s decisions were just, and supported them.
