    It would be easier if you gave the options, however opium was the only thing that was valuable to the Chinese and the British were selling it in massive quantities, however they couldn't sell as much as they could due to the fact opium was illegal. Making it legal meant they could increase the scale of sales ten fold, bringing more wealth for the empire
