The Gary Ridgway is an American known to be the Green River Killer. He is convicted for the murder of forty-eight (48) separate murders but he later confessed to having killed double that number. He is the most notorious killer who targeted women who are in vulnerable situations (e. g. prostitutes, runaway underage girls).
In 2001, He was arrested in Renton, Washington for reasons that DNA evidence directly linked him to the death of four women in the area. Instead of receiving death penalty, Gary Ridgway bargained for a life imprisonment and told the court that he will disclose the whereabouts of other missing women he has murdered.
