    The factors are public support for keeping the hospital open, business interest groups lobbying for more private hospitals, and wealthy donors who want to name the hospital after themselves

    Unfortunately, without money to keep the hospital running the training of the doctors and nurses and the study of rare diseases are always the ones that get sacked. Numerous institutions that study rare diseases have closed down because of this and a high amount of doctors and nurses with great training does not mean that a hospital will keep existing.
