Why would the pharaoh be blamed if there was crop failure and disease in Egypt

    They believed that the Pharaoh was holy and the direct descendant from the gods whether they were actually half human and make mistakes so they blamed the Pharaoh for crop failure and disease because they believe the Pharaoh could have prevented it or may have even made the gods mad with his behavior
