The "lane" on a basketball court is a rectangle that has the perimeter of 62 feet. Find the dimensions of the "lane" given that it's length is 5 ft less than twice its width.

    You would set up the equation 2w-5=62 and you would find that the width equals 33.5 and then you would add the lengths and widths together so. 33.5+33.5+67+67 = 201 ft
