    The platonic solids (or regular polyhedra) are convex with faces composed of congruent, convex regular polygons. The mathematician Euclid proved that there are exactly five such solids. They are the tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron andicosahedron. The tetrahedron has faces.
