    1) 10x+70 = 180

    10x = 180-70

    10x = 110

    x = 11

    2) 5x+15+30 = 90

    5x = 90-45

    x = 45/5

    x = 9

    1.

    supplementary add to 180

    10x+70=180

    minus 70 both sides

    10x=110

    divid both sides by 10

    x=11 degrees

    B

    2.

    right angle is 90 degrees

    30+5x+15=90

    5x+45=90

    minus 45 both sides

    5x=45

    divide 5 both sides

    x=9

    B
