    Recall that for example when an investor buys a $1,000 par value bond quoted at 88.354, the investor pays 88.354% of the face value of the bond. Market value of $1,000 per value bonds from Dagofi Radar = 88.354% of $1,000 = 0.88354 x $1,000 = $883.54 Amount spent to buy two bonds with a par value of $1,000 each from Dagofi Radar = 2 x $883.54 = $1,767.08 Market value of $500 per value bonds from Chambers Translation = 112.894% of $500 = 1.12894 x $500 = $564.47 Amount spent to buy five bonds with a par value of $500 each from Chambers Translation = 5 x $564.47 = $2,822.35 Market value of $1,000 per value bonds from Essentia Inc = 96.262% of $1,000 = 0.96262 x $1,000 = $962.62 Amount spent to buy four bonds with a par value of $1,000 each from Essentia Inc. = 4 x $962.62 = $3,850.48 Total amount spent = $1,767.08 + $2,822.35 + $3,850.48 = $8,439.91
