Ms. michaels made an apple pie with a radius of 5in. she cut the pie into 6 equal slices. Fined the approximate area of each slice.

    Now, area of a circle is A = πr², where r = radius.

    we know the radius is 5, thus the area of the whole circle is A = π5² or 25π.

    then each slice is just one sixth of that, thus 25π/6 is the area of one slice.
