The longest side of a right triangle is 125 m and one of the remaining two sided is 100m. find its area using heron's formula

    By Pythagora's theorem, the remaining side is 75m.

    When it is a right-angled triangle, it is very stupid to apply Heron's formula to find the area. We can use the formula:

    area = base * height : 2

    directly.

    Hence, the area is 75*100:2 = 3750 m^2
