You are paneling an office that has 2 walls measuring 18' x 8' and 2 walls measuring 9' x 8'. how many sheets of paneling will you need, assuming each panel sheet measures 4' x 8'?

    18' x 8' : 4' x 8' = 4 1/2

    9' x 8'. : 4' x 8' = 2 1/4

    4 1/2 + 2 1/4 = 6 3/4

    A. = 13 1/2 or 13.5

    9 ... 18*2=144

    18*2=144

    9*8=72

    9*8=72

    then add 144+144+72+72=432 this is area of the walls.

    Then 4*8 = 32 Is area of panels.

    432:32=9 ... so you need 9 panels to cover whole walls
