Y=-3 cos x
y = a cos (bx+c) + d
a=-3, b=1, c=0, d=0
Period: P=2Pi/b, where Pi is the constant 3.1416
Replacing b=1 in the formula above:
P=2Pi/1
P=2Pi
Answer: The period of the function y=-3 cos x is 2Pi
