Combine like terms:
4x+7=19
Subtract 7 from both sides of the equation
4x=12
Divide 4 on each side
X=3

first you combine like terms
4x + 7=19
then you move the big to the small and subtract 7 from 19
4x = 12
then you divide 4 by itself
do the same with 12
you answer should be 3
